Rony Baltazar-Lopez earned his associate's degree from the AAP in 2014 and his bachelor's degree in political science and government from UD in 2017. He is now in the process of earning his Master of Public Administration degree and plans to graduate in 2022. Rony's commitment to public service is clear: He has worked as a legislative correspondent for Sen. Tom Carper in Washington, D.C., and served as the Hispanic outreach coordinator for NAMI Delaware, and he is currently the public information officer for Attorney General Kathleen Jennings in the Delaware Department of Justice. In 2019, he became the first Hispanic to serve on the Milford School Board and is currently the school board's vice president. Rony, a first-generation college student, credits the AAP for helping him to afford college and giving him the start he needed on his path to success.
