Hi, my name is Sarah Strauss and I'm a registered dietitian and a 2017 graduate from the University of Delaware with a degree in nutrition, dietetics, and a minor in public health. I had such a fantastic experience IUD, and a big part of that was due to my program. And also the College of Health Sciences as a whole. As someone who's always been interested in nutrition and food. As quickly drawn to the beach and department. And I thought this would be a perfect fit. Four years later, I can confidently say it was, it really was, it was the best decision. And not only were the courses really well taught, but the professors really did care about every single student. I felt like the program had such a positive and impactful influence on my career trajectory. And I don't think I would be where I am today without the commitment and the dedication from the professors. And since graduating from Udi, I joined the Peace Corps and puts want to where I serve as a clinic and health team volunteer focusing on HIV and outreach. And during those two years, I had the chance to actually utilize a lot of the skills and the tools that I received from my nutrition courses, I really see it be put into action. I completed my service this past March and now enrolled in the nutrition for Global Health Program at the London School of Hygiene, Tropical Medicine. It is a master's program, so it's definitely a little bit intimidating. But UD definitely prepared me in every single way for graduate school. So overall, I cannot recommend Udi and my program and the BAHA and department more to any prospective students. Not only will you have the best four years, but you'll also be surrounded by professors and staff that really want you to be your best and to really achieve.
