The College of Agriculture & Natural Resources (CANR) and UD Botanic Gardens (UDBG) are excited to share a new project coming to South Campus! Together, we are transforming part of the Townsend Hall parking lot into the Townsend East Lawn and Garden; a vibrant, welcoming space that blends beauty, sustainability, and education.
Guided by the expertise of UDBG staff, CANR faculty, and Extension professionals, this new garden will showcase ecologically minded landscape techniques and management practices. It will serve as a living classroom for students, a resource for the community, and a gathering place for events and outreach.
