I've got to handle some Luai Amoorah: how to progress through. Okay. Hey, John, Guys happy to be here with you today. I guess i'm gonna start right now by both of temporary expectations. Luai Amoorah: It's about the last minute he's out of my slides. So we're looking at a pretty chuckle I didn't. Luai Amoorah: but it's a little bit. Probably it's for a 1 million for 6 years now, so I'm primarily support team store, our Middletown Railroad store and our North East as an outside sales group. Obviously sales the title Luai Amoorah: I. My job is to grow accounts by node out of state, basically taking a territory. And it's go with my, you know, hopefully, my like that every year. So when I meet my territory, it's probably, too, traffic Luai Amoorah: and part of this, whatever the customers are assigned in my territory, so Luai Amoorah: technically on residential week. So we're very segmented segmented. We're very specific in our goals. We sell for a certain type of Luai Amoorah: so my customers are mainly, or what we call a so whoever you would hire, and then they didn't. So they're all professionals. I don't I don't deal with Diy. I don't have professional. Luai Amoorah: so I I do have a variety in a couple of school districts hospitals. Luai Amoorah: They put the benefit of manufacturers, some equipment refinishing. Luai Amoorah: So I have a a pretty good variety. Luai Amoorah: It's it's a Luai Amoorah: challenging role. It's ever ever changing. I would say, as much as sales Customer service, right? So my sales are not at all. They're very very relationship based a big sale today. Luai Amoorah: Do a lot for me. I need assistant sales, and I need to grow a year from here. So I think my budget this year. It's probably about 1.5 million. That's on the low end Luai Amoorah: for our okay. right? So our top sale Luai Amoorah: so big stuff in there, and that's a little residential. He's going to sell it to Luai Amoorah: specifically people. and you won't. So with that. and it goes Second. Luai Amoorah: built on it's like 2,000. We're going to build every one of those probably hang back right. Luai Amoorah: and those are all itself there. Luai Amoorah: So as we go through, i'm gonna just kinda talk hopefully. You guys will ask your questions for me. It's like. Luai Amoorah: really appreciate that. Luai Amoorah: Hopefully, you guys, I can some good advice. I'm going to have some slides here that are not sure what we need to know if you're interested. Some program. Luai Amoorah: And then you know, just kind of talk a little bit about the company. We are the largest, a beta capture in the world at this point after the acquired. That's part of the Luai Amoorah: so Luai Amoorah: very, very large company, the very, very small field. Is anyone here Luai Amoorah: here? Luai Amoorah: So small story? Right? Very small kind of a hopefully like one of our nicer stores for you. Luai Amoorah: It's a good field, but we're actually the biggest thing that. Luai Amoorah: And there's still there's some slides on the scope as much more that you probably need a picture for sure of later. Luai Amoorah: Go back. Yeah. Luai Amoorah: So, my, that before sure it was, I graduated you mass inverse the degree in economics. Never. Luai Amoorah: It's a like painter for a general conspector from there it was. It was management for big box for a while. Luai Amoorah: It's so for a while, so the shirts. But then, with companies inside sales, we'll go through it exciting so Luai Amoorah: pretty well. My background is very much in the construction industry. Luai Amoorah: But that said that I've done quite a few different things. So don't flat on my face some of the current. I'll be honest and go back up. Luai Amoorah: But great experience. So if you guys are going to the sales field. Luai Amoorah: It's really kind of a big thing, right? It's how you grow it's how you learn it's how you Luai Amoorah: kind of your next so I could not take a lot of money in it, but probably the up, the Luai Amoorah: great learning experience, and it really got me outside myself to to that healthy girl as an individual as a salesperson. So I don't regret it Luai Amoorah: there. Okay. but it that that nothing against the Luai Amoorah: it didn't work. Well. so all right at this point, I was sure, for 6 years. As I said, I started in the Mt. Programming. Luai Amoorah: That's manager training. That's mainly here towards college graduates, so they want to. They want to grab it right now, and it's for you to communicate. So they're not looking for necessarily experience school being a trick, but they're looking for is people want to learn well, hungry and Luai Amoorah: want to succeed, and it is a very, very so. It has an interesting dynamic of Luai Amoorah: retail full sale, and then. Luai Amoorah: you know, very, very sales focused at every level. So I think we Luai Amoorah: from Mt. Program was to decide later. I went to system manager, then manager, and now in my next. Luai Amoorah: And that's kind of a a typical progression. That's how they watch the work they share with my next goal. Probably. So I'd make a commercial aspect, probably, you know, getting into multi 1 million dollar territory. Luai Amoorah: Until then my goal is from my my territory here over here getting my budget Luai Amoorah: all the way as possible. Luai Amoorah: So challenges Luai Amoorah: I mean ever painting Luai Amoorah: industry. We went into some significant shortages in our materials. So we're about a year to have period. Luai Amoorah: How did you have products to sell? Which is okay? If you're trying to be a sales person, you don't have the actual material that you sell. It gets interesting, right? Luai Amoorah: You do a situation with that. You find another mix of stuff right? You try to find ways to see the relationship. Luai Amoorah: so that when they Luai Amoorah: and and right now big focus, that's where. So Luai Amoorah: last year that's what we're we're once boiled. And now i'm looking for the products they need to run their business, so we will have better price points along the way. Luai Amoorah: Some of them found what they consider better products. Luai Amoorah: So this year. Big focus is reconnecting with those customers kind of proving that sure would be there for the business Luai Amoorah: and help them as much as possible. So Luai Amoorah: that was, you know. I don't know Luai Amoorah: from a broader standpoint, what are my challenges today? Sales Luai Amoorah: We tell this to me. It's it's trying to now like us. So there's a lot of different. Luai Amoorah: So we can sell. Obviously, like you said, not transactional for me at all. Very relationship basis. Luai Amoorah: So I need to be in front of my customers and seeing them Luai Amoorah: I need to be. Luai Amoorah: But by nature they're kind of. They roll a lot, so they may be working with new work today in Canada to celebrate tomorrow. Luai Amoorah: Oh. it can be hard to know, so that that's my biggest for my biggest challenge. but very important that I do. Luai Amoorah: Oh. Luai Amoorah: probably your sales. Luai Amoorah: some of them. Luai Amoorah: And so it's strange if you're ever in sales. One of the is the Luai Amoorah: it costs and stuff Luai Amoorah: don't ever call me customer with just checking in right Luai Amoorah: no value. So that's what we challenge I want to. I want to all the best for right. I welcome to to be in touch with me. Luai Amoorah: I have to value every time, so that that's definitely hard to do right by box in the last week. Luai Amoorah: but I need to. I need to get in front of them again. Luai Amoorah: What what am I going to do? What am I going to offer them today, and that's where it goes with. It turns around really outside in in the amendment. So, seeing the world from your custom point of view. Luai Amoorah: that's it, it. Luai Amoorah: I know what I want. I I don't why I want to decide it. Luai Amoorah: The challenge is finding it. It kind of linking the value of what you people need to buy in what their business is. So really trying to see the the point of view of the world. Luai Amoorah: are we with you? Luai Amoorah: It can be a challenge. That's but that's kind of critical. So I don't know, you know, challenges that that's kind of what I this is. Luai Amoorah: but it is ever to be what will happen Luai Amoorah: this year? Raw materials. So yeah. Luai Amoorah: you live by a as much as I like. It's not an issue that's that's something. Luai Amoorah: And I don't. I don't want to be the team all the time. What about the business but the the one of the challenges it's finding there Luai Amoorah: right. So we want to have the right price, whatever product, and we want it to to benefit our us. Luai Amoorah: So there are a few challenges. I don't have any questions on that. That makes sense Luai Amoorah: fair enough. Luai Amoorah: So what makes me successful? So this Luai Amoorah: That's Luai Amoorah: so. It's also 100%, Luai Amoorah: 100%, Luai Amoorah: I guess. Kind of what this this slide is getting across, and I do like it. It's a little boarding, but Luai Amoorah: these are all pretty important. Luai Amoorah: Biggest. I guess I should have a lot of the hardest challenge for me on a sales perspective is. Luai Amoorah: I don't have what anything my job. so I don't go up to the site at the website Luai Amoorah: with a finished product. Luai Amoorah: There's nothing that's been my day sometimes with nothing I can. Luai Amoorah: So where do you see it? I see it in, in, in, in figures at the end of the day. So that's for me, is challenge right. Luai Amoorah: and that's where that's where the focus comes in. That's when the discipline comes in, because I I have to figure out what i'm gonna do the next day. Luai Amoorah: I have to figure out what else to do with any kind of adjustment. That's my Yes. Luai Amoorah: that. So it is equal to okay, and Luai Amoorah: it in a couple ways. It's in sexes of the world. But Luai Amoorah: basically, from a short standpoint I should be making. Probably they want a face to face all the day. So i'm supposed to see a customers per day every day that I work. Probably another 20 calls on top of that. Luai Amoorah: I definitely. Luai Amoorah: and it it's not enough for that to try it. Very counting, you know. Here they give you buying the whole thing. They they want to to strive for them, and that's where that also comes in. Luai Amoorah: You have a a sales rep. My goal is to be. That's what I want every year. In addition to the the big Luai Amoorah: like that's why I wake up for. Luai Amoorah: and I haven't got it yet. It's we're probably going for a the the number one Luai Amoorah: you can Luai Amoorah: like. He's. Luai Amoorah: I don't know how to describe it to me. The salesperson, not your typical. Luai Amoorah: It makes sense to what my picture it. But the users were led us to the point. Correct? Luai Amoorah: Yes, customer's telling you this. We're like this like that. Luai Amoorah: Is it a good thing I don't know, but I know that it sales are. Luai Amoorah: How many are you going? Luai Amoorah: He's got a Luai Amoorah: it's an administration. but he's just relentless in his sales, and that's Luai Amoorah: and that shows and everything he does. He's not afraid of failure Luai Amoorah: at all like I said, it'll call or call it. It's exhausting. And the Luai Amoorah: and from a sales perspective that's i'm gonna find what I know like when this is persistent. So again. Luai Amoorah: not selling you apart. So Luai Amoorah: you know we're not going to a one day deal. Luai Amoorah: We're not going to talk today again for a year. So what i'm in there selling. I need to be planning for next month next quarter. Next year some of myself will literally take it Luai Amoorah: 6 months to come to tuition. So if I have a great day today, it's not because yesterday Luai Amoorah: what I did yesterday has nothing to do with what I did today. It's 6 months ago. It's 3 months ago my biggest. Probably it's not a single sale. It's, you know. Luai Amoorah: We're starting to Luai Amoorah: that we use, but involve this customer, but it's taken me literally. I'm pushing support and it all works out. I'm hoping for. Luai Amoorah: and $35 that's something that for me! On what a 1 million and a half territory. Luai Amoorah: What like I said this Isn't something that happened overnight. It's multiple quotes a lot of meetings. Luai Amoorah: It's about learning about the customer. So patience it's probably, and maybe my best aspect. I don't it is the Luai Amoorah: but I I I have found that, that, being patient. Luai Amoorah: continue to work on things it's paid off. Well, so Luai Amoorah: most success. Luai Amoorah: I guess. After this the slides are on certain specific any questions. any career. the best way to Luai Amoorah: there it is. Luai Amoorah: So These are couple of years ago, mostly Luai Amoorah: 61,000 movies, worldwide 120 countries, 4,000 Luai Amoorah: South America. Luai Amoorah: 132 manufacturing. Luai Amoorah: So so so his vertical integration as well as horizontally. So we. after the raw material. We have our own factory. Luai Amoorah: we' our product to go on shipping our What's that? Luai Amoorah: If it was just a shipping company, that would be the fifth largest, and then we distribute all corporate on the. Luai Amoorah: So we make our fun, ship our products, sell our products all we'll get sure, Williams. And then in terms of the the all these products. Luai Amoorah: our share of the own products. So you'd see, probably on Luai Amoorah: it's. It's pretty. Luai Amoorah: So even if you're not buying something with surely it's on the front of it. There's actually a Luai Amoorah: So it's got all these as well. You'll see this little kind of 5 chart in the over here. 26% of our sales come from the America's group, which. Luai Amoorah: you know, if I keep up on business they just change that to the paid group. Luai Amoorah: But that is so. That is. they still are Luai Amoorah: for residential coding performance recordings group which is technically buildings to go on wood. Luai Amoorah: and it's like that. Also, You may not realize it, like if you create a a tennis code. Luai Amoorah: some other sort of like that. There's probably like a So most of that that coding like that. I've got my share of that. Luai Amoorah: It's. Luai Amoorah: you know, that is open. so it's still using instruction to wrap like wood and stuff like that. I think we produce. We. We code enough of that as a Luai Amoorah: and then 14% is consumer grants. So that is Luai Amoorah: roll of numbers and things like that. It's a very special and company. So story about pretty sure, Williams, for years trying to develop your own line of Russian Luai Amoorah: perfect. Luai Amoorah: and they try, and they didn't the famous protest Where you have, you know, blind tests. So you don't don't tell what it is, just let them taste it, or in this place Luai Amoorah: and everything they did, no matter what they consistently find that everyone's choosing for it. Even so, i'm not gonna do the brand. Sure, we're going to compete, some people. Luai Amoorah: and that's kind of what what we do in a lot of ways Luai Amoorah: they'll go all the time. Luai Amoorah: So Luai Amoorah: so, my second. Luai Amoorah: exactly what I just told you both in that can 56% and that's our failed. So that was for full year, 21. That's how we're Luai Amoorah: the next game. Luai Amoorah: and then so i'm talking about similar brands. So these are these are products that sold in other companies. So we now have this strategic partnership with both. You can notice everything in there is our Luai Amoorah: So things like Luai Amoorah: people. Luai Amoorah: We exclusively sell them to those now, so that a very big partnership we don't have a slide for it but Luai Amoorah: one right. It's a great, a great market for me, because they pay by premiums in your contractors. They're buying Luai Amoorah: generally the higher grades Luai Amoorah: captured a huge market that we really did have. Unfortunately, I see nothing from. Luai Amoorah: So it's me there's still kind of a editor for sure. Luai Amoorah: So the 2 or 3, Luai Amoorah: but they don't have this in here. They're they're concrete. They do a lot of talking with us, talking sure we have their own lines, and that so Luai Amoorah: basically, these are I've all these things. You never realized that I Luai Amoorah: And then the so again, if you're we have automotive coordinates. Well, so it's not going down there. Things like coding, so we can't stick with that. That's all for this very, very specialty stuff. Luai Amoorah: General industrial. Luai Amoorah: He made, hoping that go to the Navy and things like that at both Luai Amoorah: industrial. It's gonna be Luai Amoorah: what I can't have in manufacturing will use our products. We have multiple lines that meet their requirements, so their Luai Amoorah: it's different than what you're paying for. That is part that Luai Amoorah: well back. I think it's like again, like there's so many of you. Luai Amoorah: So I do get into that a little bit. The on the chest. Speak a lot of my territory Luai Amoorah: that on the top side page as well. Luai Amoorah: And then in America so obviously the biggest slice of I 11.2 billion Luai Amoorah: in sales for 2021. That's I can tell you that we had our sales meeting recently. It's a Luai Amoorah: there. Luai Amoorah: if sure it's not wrong with that, I said it every year. No one's happy, but just for reference. But I, my sales, go to your 16% above last year. Luai Amoorah: So on a you know territory. Luai Amoorah: 16% for a lot of money. Last year it's 42%, Luai Amoorah: and this is for all of your. It's your Luai Amoorah: and surely generally does. My Luai Amoorah: the stock is, I think it's like Luai Amoorah: sure it is driving a lot of numbers. So again, these are. These are kind of all your stats here. Luai Amoorah: So that is our right. If you're talking about a big box, or you probably have a vote 10 times their number Luai Amoorah: over 3,100 delivery trucks Luai Amoorah: kind of discuss that we have to manage training program at any given time. They They hire 4 team members just in 2,020 for the long give or take. That's a pretty typical level. That's probably Luai Amoorah: road as well. That store number 48, 50. Luai Amoorah: Don't worry about some small state since that number. Luai Amoorah: So then we have another 2 coming next year. So Luai Amoorah: the growth that is pretty significant. Luai Amoorah: And then, on top of all, we have the 300 initial dealers like the Luai Amoorah: 3,360 sales. So again, that's Luai Amoorah: almost me throughout the country, doing what I do. So we have a board. It's on the ground. They're getting in front of us. Luai Amoorah: trying to try to swing a new business, trying to take it back to the competition, letting people make sure loans, and then over to almost 500 drives. So that is just our our Luai Amoorah: that are on the road. People will go over the coming year. Luai Amoorah: It's like we're done kind of paid them here. I don't know. I still have that little, though, but Luai Amoorah: I did not change. So Luai Amoorah: so in terms of global supply chain. Luai Amoorah: It's not just Luai Amoorah: the the rolling out in products, but keeping up with Luai Amoorah: Yes, probably what I do. Do you see you ever heard the or Luai Amoorah: so. Regulations on air quality, you know, for paid. So Luai Amoorah: the paint industry. Luai Amoorah: Delaware State of Maryland, California, very, very great. Luai Amoorah: So i'm sure we'll try to stay ahead of the curve. Luai Amoorah: Right now. I know we have development. It takes for like host of the areas where they're finding some feature affected wild like showing. There's not no regulation probably coming to 5 years on it which surely Don't, they're already developing things. So in those regulations we can global products that will be on the market. Luai Amoorah: So they're always looking for. Luai Amoorah: They never want to have an interrupted ever again. I don't think anyone Luai Amoorah: we're so on happening. What happened. I don't think you guys do Remember, we had that that recent Texas Luai Amoorah: a couple of years ago. There was like it went through. And basically what happened at the time Texas supply, probably like 99% of the raw materials that we're using Luai Amoorah: it's a lot of different a lot of products out there. So for about a 6 month period. Luai Amoorah: their animal still production. Luai Amoorah: After that they're at minimal production, and so essentially all the wrong agreed that we're creating things like Luai Amoorah: it. they don't really have any. Luai Amoorah: So, as an industry they had all their Luai Amoorah: sure it is able to Luai Amoorah: somebody to adapt it will be better than the rest. It's actually from you, benefited from it that same. Luai Amoorah: It was very bad thing. but it just for Luai Amoorah: so supply chain management again on it all. So start to finish. It's all in hopes that we can very tightly control it. Luai Amoorah: So manufacturer. Luai Amoorah: Okay. Luai Amoorah: transportation, and then the end, user he actually at all time. So every sales that empty manager for assistant manager. It's based on their custom. Luai Amoorah: and then it Luai Amoorah: 37 Luai Amoorah: Asia Pacific. We have a pretty good presence. Luai Amoorah: Yeah, you know I've been obviously the main for so far. These Luai Amoorah: There you go. Luai Amoorah: So started there because we're at 157, and a few years ago that they started on the so it is us based company. We have our Luai Amoorah: corporate offices there, as well as pretty depressing facilities. Luai Amoorah: We would Luai Amoorah: actually way better than you expect. Luai Amoorah: They I went there for training. I was like. but it's actually great the full city. Just so. If anyone's interested in the the sales training program for sure. Luai Amoorah: So again, this is in that. Luai Amoorah: and they don't care what they are using. It's one of the 2 Luai Amoorah: hopefully your 4 year degree that you You know how to learn you. That's that's what they're looking for. And then you see those open to relocation. Luai Amoorah: If you're interested in that for sure. And you're interested. Luai Amoorah: If you don't mean me, we're traveling it's like the number. One thing to help you. We're we're nationwide, and then we're also in Canada, and there's opportunities everywhere Luai Amoorah: you can Luai Amoorah: so open how the program works. Luai Amoorah: 6 to 8 week training program. They say that we go in 8 weeks, probably progressive. Luai Amoorah: That's what you should. But generally about a 6 week program in store, they select our best score. Luai Amoorah: and in that time Luai Amoorah: you can basically do everything right here. Luai Amoorah: You're learning about your profit and loss side. So the actual that tells you what you're spending. Luai Amoorah: or you can change your business with that into that they've got to train you as you end in the short period of time on on that's something that you'll you know, be join the number they could be learning. Well. Luai Amoorah: the press literally every single day. Luai Amoorah: So it is a cool program, I said. I did. That is how I thought it was surely Luai Amoorah: that is, they like to roll a little bit. So if you look at our I believe our CEO Luai Amoorah: president of the Eastern Division, which is, which we're part of it most of the East Coast. I don't my sales page or my district manager Luai Amoorah: every Luai Amoorah: so surely, very, very, very so. If you're in that program. That is, I mean the CEO of our company. Luai Amoorah: Was it empty and literally at the store level as a Luai Amoorah: so the goal of the it program is, if you're trained up, and then place to the stores and the Luai Amoorah: so sometimes. But the goal is to a i'm sure it's very possible. Luai Amoorah: And then, if beyond that, if you're interested in just getting it tasted through a long before you're thinking about the rear. we do have an internship program right now. I think we have Luai Amoorah: the program years ago. Luai Amoorah: so it's open to it's 10 weeks to the summer, so essentially it's a summer job, but at the same time they do a lot of training. Luai Amoorah: If you're training in the business, you're doing a lot of the same things in that training program. So You're very happy to be manager at the store level. So it is a lot of hands on experience it is. It's all a great way to do it. We have a project to do with other trainees. Luai Amoorah: the other interns. So we think you. Luai Amoorah: if it's in the area, we do a project together on on some aspects of business by the growth. So you're in there kind of 7 or better, some really good ideas from one that you? Luai Amoorah: Yeah, I've seen some of the ideas that come up with it. Luai Amoorah: It's really it's really impressive. So Luai Amoorah: it is a cool. If you're interested in it. Luai Amoorah: you can retail. Luai Amoorah: But yeah, we do generally Luai Amoorah: So it Yes. Luai Amoorah: Oh. so we're at. You'll see the kind of lines the way up. So Luai Amoorah: So associate driving interns next step for you when you manage a trading Luai Amoorah: system manager manager, and then from there scheduling, winding for right. So they want to. Luai Amoorah: So everybody at Commercial store do cast over. We have our commercial commercial grants. So like you see the Delaware Bridge, the Luai Amoorah: that's a sure with blame Luai Amoorah: product that we're supplying. That's not part of virtual branches, so you can back, and they do. They make millions. Any pivot project Luai Amoorah: 100,000, 200,000 and they have sales, reps that support those. Luai Amoorah: Let's say it doesn't. Luai Amoorah: So again, those are Your Luai Amoorah: so city manager will have a grouping of storage that they see, and they can on. Luai Amoorah: and then you're Luai Amoorah: our district will be should know the number. It's like 35 stores. Maybe it's all in Delaware Luai Amoorah: and I I just all of those Luai Amoorah: from there. We're going to bigger cell phone. So again, like Billing would be a good metro. Luai Amoorah: So it's passing right. They get like 4 city management for reference to. Luai Amoorah: and they Luai Amoorah: 3 sales, sales, managers, so you can see they get bigger there. It will go to the P. Of sales Luai Amoorah: by area. Then you go to President, General manager, and then you know Luai Amoorah: now the one thing I will also say that's cool. I'm sure it's like here. You just have right here. Well, I have no interest in working with the store. I have no interest in being a sales or for selling paid. Luai Amoorah: This is just the regular progression The Eastern division is located in so probably maybe an hour from here Luai Amoorah: email Luai Amoorah: If you're interesting that the person who's supposed to do this presentation today was on recruiter. So you have your predators. You have Hr. Your product. Luai Amoorah: I think we will sit down there marketing if I didn't say that essentially everything that supports the business. That's Not that we're facing is out of the Luai Amoorah: So this is just, and everyone, not everyone, but like 90%, will still build the Hr and finance All that stuff Luai Amoorah: start. Luai Amoorah: So in the last year we sent one guy to just went to Texas to work in finance there. One me I went to now to work in our credit office, so we have an office. We have a team people just dedicated Luai Amoorah: the credit account customers. It's it's like it's best possible. Luai Amoorah: So they have a team credit. So it's in that again. Hr: Just said. I think it's probably these 2 people being recruiters, and they're working the way up the Hr. Ranks. We have trainers that you can go through there. So Luai Amoorah: the point of trying to make is just this: If you have no interest in this kind of regression, working with stores, not being a still driver. That's really only scratching service. Luai Amoorah: And again. Luai Amoorah: Now, what is the district office? But we have the main corporate time port in the file. I don't know where the other. This is not stuff. There's at least 6 other kind of centers like that that have their regional Hr Luai Amoorah: questions.
