Hey everyone, this is the simplify or studying virtual kiosk by the UD bonus ambassadors. Thanks for joining and let's get started. So our first strategy is acting as the teacher. Acting as a teacher can really help you study and learn the material better. Because THE prepare so much better than if you didn't have to teach it to someone. Questions your student will ask you. This will be either your parent, sibling brand, even just a stuffed animal in your room, will help you build up your knowledge and increase the understanding of the material. Teaching the content will also cause you to elaborate on the information and put it into long-term memory versus short-term memory. So here are the steps to do this. First, prepare the concepts you'll teach by fully understanding what they are and know how to explain them to someone who has no background on the topics. Second, find new students and set a time to teach some. Third, just like a teacher would instruct your lesson and allow questions. Work through the material together. If you run into any problems, keep track of them by writing them down, then you can adjust them later on your own time. Does this not really work for you? With some people, it might not try studying less, but with more intensity. Did you really, did you know there really isn't such a thing as successful multitasking. This is because so much time is wasted on switching between content and the brain is forced to restart and refocus itself. Tries studying for shorter periods of time, but with much higher focus and determination. This requires effort, but it'll pay off. It also means no email, social media, or Face Timing. All the common distractions. Study by yourself, so no one interrupts you. Too high-intensity study habits that are really great. Our self quizzing and paraphrasing with her with reflecting self quiz by making a bunch of questions you think could be on the test and answer them yourself. Paraphrase and reflect by reading a few paragraphs or a few concepts. And think of how you would explain all that to a six-year-old. It will really help you summarize everything together. Next are some campus resources for you to utilize. First, group and individual tutoring services from the UD Office of Academic Enrichment. This tutoring can be so helpful and get you through those hard classes. Next are the virtual educational workshops on topics such as time management, goal setting, and note taking from the UD Office of Academic Enrichment. These are really great and super easy to watch. Feel free to go to the websites linked for more information. Thanks for watching. Follow us at UT wellness ambassadors on Instagram and you're on Facebook. For more great and bow on final exam preparation. Bye.
