Nadine Farid Johnson, managing director of PEN America’s Washington office and Free Expression program will discuss critical issues surrounding generative artificial intelligence and free expression on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. Hosted by the Department of Communication during Free Speech Week, the event is being held as part of the department’s 50th anniversary.
