In "On Being a Number," University of Delaware student Richard Plotzker, with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, shared how numbers defined not only his medical career but also the patients he treated. Richard submitted his message for the Voices of UD 2022 audio essay contest for students, hosted by the University of Delaware's Center for Political Communication.
