In partnership with the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), IPA is proud to present four new electric-vehicle-oriented trainings in 2022.
In this third session of our 2022 electric vehicle series, we focus on planning for and funding improvements to prepare for electric vehicles. We will highlight Energize Delaware’s new Challenge Grants program, which awards $500,000 grants to county and municipal governments to expand the electric vehicle infrastructure in Delaware. Grants can be applied toward purchasing municipal or county owned electric vehicles, charging stations, infrastructure upgrades, training, and feasibility studies. Other important issues relating to planning for electric vehicles in local communities will be covered.
