Our Mission: Your Success! Resources and Support Programs to Ensure Student Success in the UD College of Arts and Sciences

Find out how you can use the expansive list of resources and support programs offered at the University of Delaware! When it comes to student success, the vast resources available in the College of Arts and Sciences are second to none. Our team recognizes the needs of students and ensures they are met through free services such as our writing, math and tutoring centers. Finally, when it comes time to write your resume, apply for an internship or find post-graduate job, our career services team and alumni mentors have you covered!
Resource and support staff join student panelists to guide viewers through some of the biggest questions faced by prospective students and their families, including:
- Is tutoring free for students? What resources are free?
- Does my department have an Alumni Advisory Board? How are they utilized?
- What is UD Career Services? When do I engage with them?
- What is the UD Writing Center? What can I use it for?
- What resources are available to students studying mathematical or biological sciences?
- What is the Mathematical Sciences Learning Laboratory (MSLL) and how can I use it?

A general introduction of the program, Our Mission: Your Success! - Learning Beyond the Classroom, including how students can participate. The workshop panel for this event includes Alison Gondos, an academic program manager for the CAS Undergraduate Academic Services office, Nichole Hitchner, career counselor in the UD Career Center; Chris Volker, associate director of the UD Writing Center; Dr. Murray Johnston, associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences; Carly Meluney, an academic program manager with NUCLEUS; Emily Stuebing, a UD student majoring in biology with minors in genetic counseling, English and Spanish, and Olivia Harriman, a UD student majoring in biology who works in the UD Writing Center.
