While
not a new form of assessment, Specification Grading has recently gained new
attention. In this session, we will discuss what Specs Grading is, what it
entails, and how this can revolutionize your perception of assessment while
simultaneously motivating higher levels of cognitive achievement for
students. Specific examples, as well as tips and tricks for successful
implementation, will be provided. Substantial time will be dedicated to
brainstorming, and new ideas are welcome.
Max Dolinsky is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Lerner College. His research interests include corporate finance, capital structure, international finance, financial institutions and banking. Dr. Dolinsky earned his PhD in Finance from the University of Florida and holds an MBA from Hough Graduate School of Business.
