Based in Los Angeles, she is currently VP, HR Communications (Senior Strategist) at City National Bank, where she is focused on building a strong narrative for bank colleagues around their HR journey and cultivating connections through thoughtful, two-way communications.

Before joining City National, she served as Director of Internal Communications at the aviation tech startup Skyryse, where she established strategies and frameworks to help boost transparency and strengthen company culture. She also spent nearly a decade at Riot Games, focusing on everything from developing their internal channel ecosystem to producing the largest employee conference in the company's history. Her early career also included positions with Nickelodeon, Six Flags Entertainment, and Wind-Up Records. With both her bachelor's (2007) and master's degrees (2024) from the University of Delaware and a track record of delivering impactful results, Julia is dedicated to creating cohesive communications that connect and inspire.
