The University of Delaware welcomed Denée Crumrine, a UD alumna, to the Inside the Industry series on November 16, 2020. The 2010 graduate is the corporate communications manager at Highmark Delaware, and she's responsible for internal and external communications as well as press relations. Denée oversees corporate giving, community affairs, and the community grant fund. In this session, she described what it’s like to manage communications for a health insurance company during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining Highmark Delaware, Denée was the communications manager at the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, where she produced the Delaware Business Magazine and managed the Chamber’s social media, web presence, and press relations.
