With the rising cost of online access codes to course materials or textbooks, the use of open educational resources (OER) can significantly increase student learning and success. This workshop will introduce faculty to OER repositories of peer reviewed course materials and simple strategies for incorporating them into your classes. Whether you have explored the open access movement before or are just starting out, this interactive workshop gives you practical tools and experience to reduce the cost of your course materials with these customizable, affordable resources. This workshop is intended for faculty members who are redesigning or will be redesigning a course in the near future, or those who have an interest in the topic will gain practical experience locating and identifying these materials. Faculty will also be introduced to library support for course affordability.
