Navid Mohammad Mirzaei, a 2020 graduate of the PhD in Applied Mathematics program at the University of Delaware (UD), shares his experience as a student in the UD Department of Mathematical Sciences and how it benefitted his career. Mirzaei, who is now a visiting assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, graduated with a master's degree from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran in 2014 before coming to UD to continue his studies in 2015.
