From Sarah Pragg on July 13th, 2020
The virtual Delmarva #FreightFriday sessions aim to enhance awareness of major freight planning programs and initiatives; share information on significant freight and goods movement trends; and encourage public-private partnership development.
The June 26 session focused on Market Trends and Planning Priorities, with presentations on Gulftainer USA’s Port of Wilmington operations and plans and a recent freight transportation study in the region. The session closed with a facilitated discussion of planning needs and priorities to ensure safe, efficient, and resilient freight and goods movement in the region.
This event was presented by the Institute for Public Administration in partnership with the Delmarva Freight Working Group: DelDOT, the Dover/Kent County MPO, Salisbury/Wicomico MPO, and WILMAPCO.
