The virtual Delmarva #FreightFriday sessions aim to enhance awareness of major freight planning programs and initiatives; share information on significant freight and goods movement trends; and encourage public-private partnership development.
The June 12 session focused on Freight Operations, with presentations focused on traffic impacts related to the COVID-19 crisis; Delmarva Central Railroad’s new transload facility in Seaford; and a summary of the newly revised hours of service regulations for drivers of commercial vehicles.
This event is presented by the Institute for Public Administration in partnership with the Delmarva Freight Working Group: DelDOT, the Dover/Kent County MPO, Salisbury/Wicomico MPO, and WILMAPCO.
