Thinking about a month or so after that, we're going to go over today. So actually what you guys are satisfied? No, I have. For you guys. Yeah. All right. Things off by talking about the Berlin Wall during the Cold War. On we're going to start. Sure. Yes, I do. All right. Now, after watching not very good Press any video, is the first question I want you guys to think about is where the wall was built. What would be the sudden in the resurrection of the warfare out here? If you guys are pretty good. Yes. What do I do? Yeah. Yeah. Have you ever been in history, but in fact, they don't visit grandma and more to the creation of them all was created in August that 961 if began being directed by the German Democratic Republic during the Cold War. Originally it was made of barbed wire. But as we saw on the video of people are like running in a bottle dryer. So they later voted with concrete on the Russians did not want the population. So the pilgrim and go into the western part of your right leg. Other questions, So the German Democratic and I'll show you for me because that sounds pretty cool. Yeah. Thank you both a better idea of containment. Yeah, I'm glad I'm not. The Soviet Union where I became the United States, Great Britain, France, the United States, France, right? They really want Together halides. And then Russia, fair? Yeah. So then, now the United States, because the United States, during the ball, rolling ball, well, as the paradox of the law on the East German government isn't good. Visit the west side of Berlin by five. And they completely ignored idea of a line under the law, started celebrating. And Planck's law over 91980. Something. Here we are. So the first question, yes. Good job everybody. We'll put up the Berlin Wall. So you guys paid such a I got somebody. Right. Hi. Well, he's grabbed me and now I'm going to pass in my life. All right. All right. We're off Vietnam War. Now. You all heard of the Vietnam War as it was or was not heard Vietnam. Okay, great. I would be pretty bad for education system as somebody who had not heard of this word. So you can all go into Canvas and click on the link table. I'd like you to put down what comes to mind when you think of the Vietnam. Just the perfect. Thank you. Thank you for that. Yeah, Germans do that. I think is bamboo. And follow me. Okay. Hi. Now, please see if you can go. Okay. Sorry about that. So how did that work? All right. So we have a whole lot of notes up here or go, That's a good one. I see that we have one more thing for me. In fact, that there's a lot of movies that easy. All right. I'm seeing a lot of good things there. A lot that I would think of myself and I think that that's Pokemon is a big thing here. So move on to page of history. So the Jamboard are there. There's a lot of things in there that you see. What you make. You guessed it gives me great. Thank you. Appreciate it. Ergonomically. What do you guys see that other people will say that you've read. What do you see that really stands out to you that they think that's a lot. Yes, it was a very long war. The longest in our country's history. Anything else, at least like that? Any American? If I could look at those and they deal with a war, it's all a whole lot. You see anything in there that a deal, especially anyone else who might be an engineer, see that is incorrect, that people are getting me to give up or anything like that? No. Okay. That's great. That's great. That means you guys were all talked very well about this in the past. I'm happy to see that. The next one, we're going to talk about the causes of the Vietnam War here. So this war began in GitHub and there was a whole lot going on there. Does anyone know what happened to the start of this war? Communism, somethings that that wasn't a part of it jumped down thereby. Yes, that's exactly what happens. So after World War Two, France wanted to regain control over Vietnam. They were not able to hold on. So it was previously a French colony. But when they were busy getting invaded by Germany in World War two, they were not enough along to this high aptitude for that. One thing that he did not like to be taking that. And so they got brands out there. Now here comes the US and the Soviet Union. America was allied with France and they weren't super concerned over Vietnam, like when the French were fighting there. They really didn't care too much if they want to not. But when the Soviet Union began supporting Vietnamese independence, that's where America came in. And they're like, whoa, yeah, we don't really care about France, but the Soviet Union allied with someone. Now as we go along. So we decided to step in and we wanted to set up democratic elections. Flow blamed communist leader or coach, he was democratically elected. All of a sudden we weren't that big of a fan of democracy, crazy on that happens. So, so he was saying how she hasn't. They are supporting what we see. Then we take them to North Vietnam. And America is supporting democracy. And they are spraying South Vietnam to her own here. And as these two, this work. So now we're going to look at capitalism and communism. And then one year to give me like a beautiful definition of one of these two, this stuff. So for capitalism, people are very knowledge of economics, that market. That's great and pursue what we're coming to the US and UK. Yeah, that beyond, that is not incorrect. So capitalism is all about free market economy. It's all out. Everybody owns everything themselves. They don't want the government involved in ergonomics. Communism is all controlled by the government. There is no length. Private enterprise is all government owned and government control. So capitalist ideology is very, very important to us as Americans and our society and how we identify ourselves. And that's the main reason that we are still anticommunist. You see any of you seen the series one piece, you can only do this. Okay, So you, you will understand this then. So there's the main character in this series of higher, it's all about pirates and she wants to be free. He does not want to be under the control of government, the main character in the movie. And so he decides he's going to call hired will. Capitalist ideology may is kind of targeting the heart inside of us all we don't want to be controlled by the boundary. We want whenever we want an app that does not apply to us lately, obviously, there are a whole lot of laws in this country. I have never taken any course or on paper airplanes is bringing along in this class. But for me that day, in opposition, this is communism and professionalism. Everything has to be completely under control of the government. The idea is that if you let people do things individually, there's going to be individual greed getting in the way, and he's decided he's going from Chrome. So for this tool says, you have a bunch of our capitalist Humphries around your communist country. Because then the capitalism and people, please. Okay, Well, I mean, I guess you could say that again. I appreciate that. Oh, yes. So if they're going to see those great quote that's like McDonald's or communism. If accurate, you cannot have a communist country louis patents boundaries and seeing them doing well and inspect your Communists on citizens to be happy with that, why puppet governments from Soviet Russian people. That is exactly why that is why they were so gung-ho on making sure to reveal capitalist countries around Soviet Union. And every time straightaway, no one, Well now that you communist Humphrey is neighbors with any impact, those countries that had passphrase differ. Alright. That the Vietnam War lasted from 1975 and obviously Award for so long. So he had a massive impact on those involved and impacted a lot of groups that were not. So can anyone tell me and it impacted the Vietnam War, the war going forward after it? Others don't. So can you think of any effects of the Vietnam War? Inactive the rest of the whole word. I can think of it again. Okay. I'm sorry. Yes. That is a big one. Allows or do something else. The monastery was or anything else for me to say. Yes. Oh wrong. Okay, yeah, that's a great point. So yes, it had a really big impact on America and what our ideology was he at the start of the Cold War, all the way back in 1947, me establish the Truman Doctrine under President for me. And he said that America is going to get involved with a country that is trying to oppose communism. So whether that be directly or indirectly. And then cases like the war we saw in the Great War was solid here in Vietnam, in America went over there and after 16 years of playing, still failed to meet the Vietnamese. That led to a massive impact on how willing they were to send soldiers needed resources overseas to get involved with other countries and what was done well on their end of the workday, order effects from the Vietnam War that we still see today. They go yesterday to somebody about how like when Eric, I feel like there's something very interesting. Yeah. Yeah. The Vietnamese country itself is still recovering from this work to this day. Yes. So similarly, I think as a personal challenge that our personal biases and their grandparents were visible here in the country for a lot of difficult. Certainly about our theory, anything like that from those endings that we just talked about. Msu medical history? Yes. Yeah. My uncle actually in this war and he cleaned out eagles, which for a full day, he had a whole lot of issues once you gain that exactly work. Yep. Alright, Mendelssohn, you bid less than your stance or think about how you can handle that. I think I'd like to discuss with them, ask them that. I'm glad you said that that was what I was hoping somebody would get. There's are a lot of great points. So we can see that this war didn't just stop effecting us what, 45 years ago. I believe. I can do like 47 now. See if I can do math correctly. He was 47 years ago and ended. It is still the impact it has very much to this a little so other countries like Vietnam as well. So now I would like to go here into, I can do this drawing thing on your computer. So I'm just kinda go into it and
