Hi everyone. My name is Hannah rosner. I graduated from UT is Lerner College of Business in 2020 with a double major in marketing and operations management and a minor in advertising. Although I did come in as a business undeclared major my freshman year, so that no need to worry. While I was at the University of Delaware, I was a member of the Women in Business Club, the UT Student Alumni Ambassador program, and I participated in Greek life. Additionally, I was a teaching assistant for the intro to business course. They are currently enrolled in. Graduating in 2020 was definitely tough as the coronavirus pandemic was in full swing. However, I did take advantage of this time to learn more about myself professionally. Even as a college graduate, I didn't know fully what career path I wanted to take. I found myself as a junior account manager at the healthcare consultancy group, which is a pharmaceutical marketing agency. The agency I worked for specifically focuses on creating content for healthcare professionals so that they can feel confident when prescribing medication to patients. My team works specifically with developing educational inforgraphics, podcasts, videos, and more for educational purposes. As a member of the account team, we help plan and execute these projects from start to finish. As a junior account manager, I work as the right hand for the account team, offering direct project support. Some of my day-to-day tasks include updating status reports, tracking project budgets, and managing timelines. As a jam, I have learned how to interact with clients. I've gained a lot of management skills and I've grown so much professionally in the short-term, been at Consultancy, Group, time management, organization, problem-solving, interpersonal skills. The marketing industry specifically involves a lot of teamwork. Although I'm currently working actually remote due to the coronavirus pandemic, I still have the opportunity to interact with people all day via Zoom. As a freshmen. My number 1 piece of advice is to immerse yourself and all of the opportunities Udi has to offer. Take part in the mentor-ship program, attend the career fairs, go to the blue hand marketing club meeting freshman year as a great time to explore yourself. And it's okay not to have a clue what you want to do in the future by partaking in all the different opportunities that the learner business school has to offer. You, bring yourself closer to knowing. So that's it from me, but thank you so much for taking the time to listen and good luck with your freshman year and your time at UT.
