Good afternoon. We are for future, a 501C3 non-profit dedicated to fighting food waste and food and security through modern technology. Security is a pressing problem. The effects of millions of people, over 38 million people, 12 million of them being children, are food insecurity in the US alone. And at the same time, 119 billion pounds of food, which is about 40% of the US's food supply is wasted each year. Next is a mobile application that connects this data. Smith, we have surplus food to hundreds essence of organizations like food pantries and food banks. The next reminds the logistics of organizing donations. Provides these food corporations with an all inclusive management software that allows him to receive what they want, when they want and how they want. We're seeking to build a national food logistics network that connects volunteers, establishments, food banks, and food pantries all through what application? F2 next is built to ensure that this excess food is being properly redistributed to those in need so we can make a significant impact in the fight against food insecurity. So what does food next offer to its users? To hunger systems organizations, boondocks offers more in-kind donations, as well as a digitized system that allows pantries to manage their inventory and reduce wasted food and storage. Organizations with surplus food. Through next offers a better image for these companies, for their customers, as well as tax deductions. So these companies can write off their in-kind donations as tax deductions. So how does do next compare to the market today? Your next is the ability to offer an all-in-one app designed specifically for food banks and food pantries, allows it to set us apart from prominent competitors in the market. It's not for like means, pantry soft and guys who digital autonomy at different niches in the food industry. Some being pantry management, volunteer management, and donation management. This causes banks and pantries to rack up huge expenses annually, especially if they're to cover all of these fields. Next, on the other hand, allows easy integration of all of this in one single affordable food. Next is business model consists of two tiers. Are free tier provides a donation management system with extensive analytics, degenerated monthly reports. Unlimited requests are free or full package priced at $30 a month. Offers a volunteer and inventory management system. Along with everything in the free plan. We have received commitments from around the nation to use our application. Right now. 37 organizations are using, are trialing food. Next at 11 states were at official partner of the stupa, one of the largest food pantries in Dallas or wherever based. And as of April 19th, over 102,000 pounds of food valued at over $113,000 has been donated to the application. Furthermore, we've received recognition from the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact and the Taco Bell Foundation. And we've been featured on news outlets like NBC, CBS and Spectrum news about organizations and deciding. During quarter one of this year, we focused on local growth, reaching out to news organizations and surrounding food rescue programs in our area. But I wanted to do this year, we're seeking to expand their operations and to California and the Northeast, utilizing our current resources in those areas. And for quarter four, where you're seeking to release the features of our application, including a volunteer management software that is currently in development, which we would use funding to help release. Now that you've heard about food next, let's tell you a little bit about us. My name is achiral and I'm an incoming freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm a volunteer at various food pantries and DFW. And I'm also on the young advocates council of the North Texas Food Bank, one of the largest food banks in Texas, serving 13 counties and working with over 400 partner agencies. And my name is Dan. I'm an incoming freshmen at MIT and I'm an extensive background in computer science. I am the captain of my science club. How my school ready placed furnished at the state competition hosted by UT Austin. I also have previous launch experiences that food pantries, one of them being the Stupa which serves Dallas is interested in. We're excited to continue building a better future, one that brings us together and one that propels us forward. Thank you. Thank you. So the anxiety didn't have any part of the diamond challenge for a lot of years. Typically every year there's a T The next to the finals that's dealing with sort of redistribution of heat, the food, that's leftover waste, fuel and have the traction that you've actually shown. They're curious, what is it that, that's allowed you to actually build it? Bill 32 users and all of that. Can you explain? Yeah. Yeah. So initially so me and kill rebuff volunteers at a local food pantries and our area. We already have the connections like I like the managers everywhere in those areas. So we use those connections to be interviewed them and asked them what they would want in software like donation management, stuff like that. And we catered towards those beads. And then after that, we expanded towards more organizations that they knew as well. So that's how we did some of it. When you think about the volunteer management side of it, what are the what's the need there? Whatever what have you identified as the knee that you're trying to build? Yes. So when we were doing the research for working with different pantries, the big issue is a lot of these volunteer management softwares, they're like $9,000 a year and food next volunteer management system, we can offer the same product at $360 a year. And a lot of these pantries there and they're there to help people with all these costs. Attorney that mission of reducing food insecurity and reducing food waste. And so that was our primary goal in developing that volunteer management system because we know we can make something at a lower price and operate from mellowed pricing. Yeah, and just add onto that, most of the labor force for food pantries, food banks during like distribution events. They're oftentimes volunteers and to like catered towards like them because they have things going on at the events. In your life madness offer that's able to manage all the volunteers and help them help other people get food. As you try to expand to California and other regions. Sounds like you have local, a lot of connections and so you knew a lot of folks. What challenges do you anticipate to try and build your concept and other, other regions? So I think initially for us, one of our challenges was because we were high school students. It was more of like we're giving you guys software, like adults, like organizations. We're giving them software that they have to trust to use. But I think now that we're going to call it, we have that sort of credibility. And then also one of the channels that were that we intend or that we're attacking, I guess is that some pantries my operate differently in different states or the sort of process, the way things work, the communities that are there. And so it's just usually utilizing our connections in those areas in order to build a product that would help people.
