Hello, my name is Larkin home. But I think there's a hazardous air pollutants and greenhouse gas, according to the UN Environmental Program, and is eight times more powerful at warming the environment than carbon dioxide over a period of 20 years. Some 25% of today's global warming impact is directly linked to human-made emissions, mainly methane, which killed over 1 million people annually. And my name is funny and Hellman, methane emissions come from many human activities, especially oil and gas development, garbage running landfills. But did you know that a third of all human-made methane comes from livestock emissions, which is considered human cost because it is our need for the end. Yes, cows burping and farming are major sources of methane. Although it might sound funny, this is a serious problem that deserves an innovative solution. And we believe this solution is right here in this cup of coffee. Actually it's in the East grounds that people throw away after making their cups of coffee. Do you see 23 million tons of coffee grounds end up in landfills every year across the world. And what are these coffee grounds line and landfills produce methane. Copied, the Korean word for coffee is a breath of fresh air. It's an all round green solution to reducing methane. Scientists at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Seoul, South Korea had discovered that heating methane to tremendous temperatures depleted of oxygen can produce stable levels of carbon capture to the form of activated charcoal capable of absorbing methane. We then researched that for centuries, farmers had been adding this to their feed supplement in the form of bio char, also known as activated charcoal, in order to improve animal health and increased nutrient intake efficiency. Now we can add reducing methane, but don't just take our word for it stays shown on beef cows and the Great Plains found that adding varchar to feed reduces their emissions by between 9.5 per cent in 18.4%. But what makes copious solutions so unique? We start with waste or grounds that coffee shops and restaurants are happy to get rid of that, no extra cost. We talked to various coffee shop chains, like one 5 min from my house that I was happy to partner with us. Finally, finding a way to dispose of their coffee grounds in a more sustainable manner. After taking these used coffee grounds and hang them up using solar energy, turning them into bio char, we then add it to animal feed. Copy is made entirely by green technology through solar energy. We were able to validate this process by working together with an MIT graduate student in alternative energy entrepreneur in order to create a prototype solar power burner. First we built a 2,300 watts solar cooker. Then we attached and in case steel capsule that contains the US tried coffee grounds and hooked it up to the center of nitrogen to prevent any oxygen during the heating process. After a lot of trial and error, we were finally able to produce the fine black crystals of activated charcoal consistently. Copays main goal is to market globally to producers that provide feed to farmers and industry expected to grow to over 600 billion by 2028. But why should farmers be so interested in coca? You might ask, well, due to, due to the increasing methane emissions, farmers are becoming to be concerned that the Environmental Protection Agency will begin to regulate the industry, requiring farmers to pay a tax of up to $175 per cow. This is why farmers urgently need Coby in order to reduce their methane emissions. Voluntarily expected to grow from $1.2 billion to $3.3 billion by the year 2030. Google bio char mark is mainly focused on mixing into the sort not into feet. I don't want government subsidies and grants and COVID comes in even more attractive alternative. But before we can take over the world, we'll start by focusing on a few local organic dairy farms, like strength dairy farm and Schellenberg, Texas. I was happy to partner with us and sign onto our pilot program. We will be asking for an initial investment of $100,000 for yeah, for $100,000, for 12% stake in our company. With that, we will invest in storage, staff, transport, and transport for our vehicles to transport the feedstock, two different warehouses. We will also be requiring $25,000 from that in order to invest in a bind Macron brand boiler. This boiler can process up to six tons of copyrights to produce one ton of bio char, factoring an estimated cost of $500 per ton, including $100 a ton for manufacturing and transportation, for looking to break even our first full year at $15,000 a month, that's $180,000 a year. With this, we intend to scale our revenues up to $900,000 to your $53 million by your ten through adding additional equipment, locations, and partnerships. Judges, we hope you'll agree that copy is a social innovation with the grounds to make our world a greener and cleaner place. Jason. Thank you. Okay. And here's a sample of our activated charcoal that he produced. Congratulations. Thank you. So you certainly did a nice job detailing that the benefits of the stakeholders have even considered for just had any discussions with. Our position in terms of any M rights activists or how this product would influence the animals. Yeah, so it's interesting that you bring that up because contrary to popular belief, the animals such as cows ingesting that bio char is actually nutritious for them and in overall helps with their digestive tract, the digestive system, because it helps absorb all of the gas that is built up in them and helps them break it down in a way that doesn't hurt them. We all suffer from that gas. Sometimes animals do too. So that overall it's a net gain for the animal and net gain for the farmer as well because they don't have to pay that tax of $175. So in short, it's more nutritious for the cow and it does not affect it in any way. And also we're taking away from that 23 million 23 million tons of grounds in landfills and making this methane every year. So we're actively reducing that number as well as helping the cows also reduce their methane emissions. How do you expect to get coffee grounds and keep the business going, especially if you expand, right? So we're, we're planning on talking to bigger processors, coffee processors, and Houston, where we're based or where we live is one of them, has one of the biggest coffee processors west of the Mississippi. So if we get in touch with all our different partnerships, will have ample supplies to resupply our coffee coffee ground product. Yeah, and an average coffee shop has or supplies around like 100 pounds of coffee waste per week. And that was only made by like a five inch by two inch cylinder. So imagine what we could take with all of those coffee grounds combined and put into bio char, we can drastically increase our product as well with that just waste product that they don't need anymore. You brothers? Yes. Have you given this to farmers yet? Like is this product already being used or yes, so so we've actually explained our product to the strike dairy farm and they were really happy about it. They, they said that it would totally be useful for them because they actually have cows that are suffering from that gas and they can walk around each other almost like paralyzed. So we have yet to send out a sample to them, but that's a really great idea and we'll definitely be looking into that in the future. And I apologize if I missed on the financial side, but the the financials bear out that the CalTex, what's the CalTex compared to the cost of collecting and adding the coffee grounds to the soil. So compared to the cost, the CalTex is just $175 per cow. So let's say that you have 100 cows, that would be $1,750 just for that. And the farmers don't really want to pay that much capital right up front. So instead, they choose to invest in our product or buy our product which is much less than 1,750 per, you know, however many columns they have. So instead of suffering the consequences of the EPA and paying 1750, they can instead just choose more greener, cleaner solution.
