The 2025 Delaware Data Science Symposium, an event organized by the UD Data Science Institute, seeks to bring together UD researchers and local partners interested in Data Science applications, theory, and pedagogy across domains.
This year’s symposium theme will focus on collaboration and co-development through data science & AI. As part of this overarching theme, the symposium will host a panel on data science collaboration in the era of AI, as well as a series of breakout sessions relating to (i) fostering collaboration between academia and non-federal partners, (ii) future computing infrastructure needs for data science and AI collaboration, (iii) harnessing unique Delaware-region datasets for research, training, and funding, and (iv) leveraging AI & collaboration in teaching and training across the Delaware region.
The symposium was held on October 24, 2025 at UD’s Star Campus in the Audion at STAR Tower.
