As part of the School of Education (SOE) colloquium series, Rui Wang, senior data scientist at Mathematica, shares how he transferred quantitative skills in education research to health research in a talk titled "Transfer Quantitative Skills from Education Research to Health Research: A Story from an ESRM Graduate."
This year-long colloquium series welcomes SOE
alumni working in the fields of educational leadership, educational
statistics and research methods, the learning sciences, literacy
education, mathematics education, school psychology, and sociocultural
and community-based approaches to research in education. The featured speakers, who have graduated from the SOE PhD in
Education, PhD in Educational Statistics and Research Methods, EdD in
Educational Leadership, or School Psychology programs, will share
current research, scholarship, or leadership projects and experiences
from the field.
