Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Karyn Olivier has created works that have been featured at the Whitney Museum of American Art and The Museum of Modern Art. She is also an associate professor of sculpture at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. In this presentation, she discusses the concepts behind some of her most prominent works of public art and the profoundly moving experiences she had with those who engaged with it.
