Explore the K–12 progression of fraction and proportion concepts and understand how to emphasize the power of precise mathematical language to support student understanding. Participants will examine how ideas build from one grade to the next and how representations—such as models, visuals, and number lines—help students make meaningful connections across concepts. This webinar highlights alignment with grade-level mathematical standards and deepens awareness of the learning experiences students have had prior to entering a new grade. We’ll discuss how to identify unfinished learning so that we can provide purposeful and just-in-time supports for all students that will strengthen coherence and guide students toward the next steps in their mathematical development.
